Scott.

Hello everyone,
I am in need of expert advice. I have a Hawker Hunter, from Hobby King, of which I have replaced the EDF with another EDF, in the hope it would produce more thrust. As luck would have it, it does not. The new EDF was quoted to produce 1800g of thrust. I have tested the unit while installed in the Hunter, and it produced approximately 900g, with a Turnigy A-Spec 4s 3700mAh 65-130c LiPo battery. The model has a weight of 1600g (Model, EDF, Battery, etc).
I am now considering replacing the electric motor. I intend on doing this based on the discussions generated on the Hobby King site, of the poor performances, this EDF has produced.
My question. With an increased RPM (Kv) for the given fan blades, will this in turn, generate more thrust, if the remainder of the system remains constant.
Cheers
Scott.
